SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to launch euro conversions for European LNG prices

S&P Global Platts Platts is to launch euro-denominated assessments for its European LNG price assessments on January 16.

These will be published as currency conversions of dollar-denominated assessments of Platts Northwest Europe (NWE) and Platts Mediterranean (Med) markers.

The move comes after a previously published proposal to introduce euro-denominated assessments first published in October: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/101619-pl atts-proposes-to-launch-euro-conversions-for-lng-prices.

The prices will be published each business day and will e quoted in Eur/MMBtu and Eur/MWh to three decimal places.
