Platts is clarifying the methodology for its Market on Close assessment process regarding bids or offers for US Atlantic physical gasolines, jet fuel, No. 2 oil and ULSD. If a buyer bids for physical barrels FOB New York Harbor barge or Buckeye Pipeline, then the seller will determine whether the delivery will be on a barge or Buckeye basis. Similarly, if a seller offers on a "barge or Buckeye" basis, then the buyer has the option to select barge or Buckeye.
