Shipping 1 Platts to launch weekly European Group 2 and Group 3 Base Oils assessments

Shipping Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch weekly, CFR Europe Group 2 and Group 3 base oils spot assessments on Dec. 11, 2024.

The proposed assessments will reflect spot cargoes for Group 2 150N, 220 N, 600 N and unapproved Group 3 4CST and 6CST base oils.

The new Group 2 and Group 3 CFR Europe assessments will be basis Rotterdam, published in $/mt and will take into consideration price information gathered during the week up to the close of the assessment process on Wednesday of each week at 4:30 pm London time, following a London publishing schedule.
