Platts clarifies European cobalt specifications

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, seeks to clarify the specifications for its Cobalt 99.8% European assessment (MMAIK00), as follows:

The assessment reflects volumes of a maximum 100 mt and includes broken cathodes, briquettes and cut cathodes. The assessment is published on a daily basis and follows Platts London holiday calendar.

Platts also publishes weekly, monthly and annual averages for this assessment. Platts is updating the minor metals table of its nonferrous methodology and specifications guide according to the above clarifications.
