S&P Global Platts is clarifying the process used in its currency assessments at 1630 London time, published November 10.
Typically, these assessments are derived using exchange rate data published by Tullett Prebon. However, with Tullett Prebon's systems down since November 9, Platts received data from other sources such as NEX Data, GFI, Tradition and CME.
All Platts non-US dollar assessments and currency values were published without issue.
