Following a period of consultation and review of industry feedback, Platts has decided to discontinue the following daily baseload and peakload assessments in the Dutch electricity market: week ahead, second and third month ahead, third and fourth quarter ahead, balance of year and third year ahead. Consequently, Platts will no longer assess the second month ahead daily spark spread for the Netherlands.
Platts will continue to assess baseload and peakload for Dutch day ahead, weekend, first month ahead, first and second quarter ahead and first year ahead, along with the associated day ahead, month ahead, quarter ahead, quarter ahead + 1 and year ahead spark spreads, and will also continue to assess second year ahead baseload and peakload.
All assessments are published on European Power Alert and in European Power Daily. The changes will take effect from January 31, 2012.
