Changes to NYMEX/ICE data formats, content effective February 1, 2012

As previously announced, Platts plans to make two changes to the end-of-day NYMEX, ICE and other energy futures exchange prices delivered to data subscribers between 8 and 10pm US Eastern time each weekday.

These changes will take effect Wednesday, February 1, 2012, and will affect most subscribers to the Market Data Categories listed below.

The changes are as follows:

* Prices currently published as integers (whole numbers) will be published as decimal (dollars and cents) values to match those posted by the exchanges.

* 'Previous day' volume and open interest values will be published as current-day values. This means that volume and open interest figures with a given date will apply to that date, rather than to the previous trading day as they do now.
