SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies China HDG steel specifications

S&P Global Platts is clarifying the quality specifications of its China hot-dipped galvanized steel assessments.

The assessments and their symbols are: HDG China Dom Prod Shanghai (SB01118) HDG China Exp FOB Shanghai (SB01119)

Platts is clarifying their quality specifications to reflect a standard of DX51D or equivalent material. The zinc content is 80 g/sq m for the domestic assessment and 120 g/sq m for the export assessment.
