Platts to expand global glycols coverage Dec. 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has decided to expand its global glycols coverage by launching weekly di-ethylene glycol (DEG) and tri-ethylene glycol (TEG) price assessments in Asia and the Americas, and the TEG assessment in Europe.

The assessments were first proposed in the subscriber notes below:

Europe: on Sept. 29, available here

Americas: on Oct. 6, available here

Asia: on Oct. 16, available here

The new assessments will be published every Friday or the last working day of the week, based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process. Other locations in respective regions may be considered for the assessment, subject to normalization.

All market information reported through the week to Platts may be considered and will be published in real-time, including firm bids and offers, trades, and indicative values, as well as any other data deemed relevant to the assessment process. Pricing information for material with other specifications and terms may be normalized accordingly.
