Platts reflects updated HRS101 ferrous scrap dimension specification

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has updated the dimension specification of its daily HRS101 Heavy Recycled Steel CFR China assessment effective Nov. 5, 2025, in reflection of China's recent revision of its national recycling iron-steel materials standards from GB/T 39733-2020 to GB/T 39733-2024.

The assessments affected and the updated dimension specifications are listed in the table below:
