S&P Global Platts will begin publishing new daily prices for West India Marker (WIM) re-gasified LNG (RLNG) India on both an ex-terminal and delivered basis for various locations on Nov. 16, 2020.
The pricing period for the WIM RLNG prices will match that of the WIM assessment (AARXS00). For example, between Nov. 16, 2020 to Dec. 15, 2020, Platts will publish WIM RLNG prices for January 2021.
Daily prices will be published in both Indian Rupee/MMBtu and $/MMBtu, using the daily USD/INR (AAFGW00) exchange rate at 4.30 pm Singapore time, and appear on Platts LNG Daily and Liquefied Natural Gas Alert LNG0832.
Ex-terminal prices will be published daily for the following five locations and one average and under the following codes:
The ex-terminal prices will be calculated using the daily Platts WIM assessment plus the costs of prevailing import duties, re-gasification fees and GST (Goods and Services Tax) on regasification fees, and re-gasification volume loss.
Delivered prices will be published daily for the following 11 locations and one average and under the following codes:
The delivered prices will be calculated using the ex-terminal prices from the nearest terminal as per existing natural gas pipeline infrastructure, in addition to the transportation tariffs as published by India's Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board and GST on transportation fees.
Neither the ex-terminal nor the delivered prices will include marketing margin and sales taxes.
The calculations would be periodically reviewed to ensure the inputs reflect prevailing market dynamics.
