S&P Global Platts has launched three new dirty tanker freight demurrage assessments, effective Nov. 2.
The Cross-UK Continent assessment reflects daily demurrage for 80,000 mt crude oil cargoes, loading 7-25 days forward from the date of publication.
The rate is based on the basket for the cross-UK Continent Aframax assessment. The Cross-Mediterranean assessment reflects daily demurrage for 80,000 mt crude oil cargoes, loading 7-25 days forward from the date of publication. The rate is based on the basket for the cross-Mediterranean Aframax assessment. The West Africa-to-UK Continent assessment reflects daily demurrage for 130,000 mt crude oil cargoes, loading 10-30 days forward from the date of publication. The rate is based on the basket for the cross-Mediterranean Aframax assessment.
All three assessments are published on a US thousand dollar per day basis.
The new assessments appear on fixed pages SHP1452 and PGT1952.
The Turkish Straits demurrage assessments 80,000 mt (AAPEE00) and 135,000 mt (AAPED00) that appear on fixed pages PGT1960, PGT0918, and SHP1430, will appear on SHP1452 and PGT1952, effective Nov. 2.
