Platts plans to launch on November 30, 2016, West African polyethylene and polypropylene assessments. These are for low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, high density blowmolding polyethylene, high density injection polyethylene, high density film polyethylene, homo injection polypropylene and polypropylene copolymer.
The assessed prices will be in $/mt on a CFR West Africa basis.
The new CFR West Africa assessments will be published on polymer scan as well as petrochemical alert page PC239.
Like the current CFR North Africa assessments, the CFR West Africa assessments will reflect a cargo size of 100-500 mt lots and will reflect products for delivery 15-45 days forward from the date of publication with 60 days net payment terms.
