SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts publishes European electricity midpoint assessments

SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts publishes European electricity midpoint assessments Effective November 2 2015, Platts publishes a single value for each of its European electricity assessments in European Power Daily, European Power Alert and Platts Market Data, which reflects the mid-point of the high-low assessment range.

Platts seeks to publish the most relevant price data in its daily newsletters and real-time services. Accordingly, Platts now publishes price assessments in its European Power Daily newsletter and European Power Alert real-time services that reflect the mid-point values only, and will no longer display the high and low range.

Platts continues to publish a high-low range around its midpoint assessments for European power symbols in Market Data categories EE and PE. Ranges for all contracts have been standardized as follows:

- Primary assessments in Eur/MWh: +/- 25 euro cent. - Primary assessments in GBP/MWh: +/- 15 pence.

Please note that there are no high and low ranges for the Polish and Turkish electricity assessments. High and low ranges for the Polish assessments were discontinued in January 2014.

Platts continues to publish the high-low range around its mid-point assessments for the German forward assessments in a separate table in European Power Daily.
