Platts changes standard LNG cargo volume considered in Gulf Coast Marker (GCM)

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has updated the cargo quantity reflected in its daily Platts Gulf Coast Marker (GCM) LNG price assessments, effective Nov. 1.

The changes are in line with industry feedback and observed changes in trading patterns and norms.

The standard LNG cargo quantity for Platts GCM has been updated to 3.7 TBtu, plus/minus 2% operational tolerance, from the previous 3.5 TBtu, plus/minus 2% operational tolerance.
