Platts, a part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued publishing assessments for Eugene Island crude oil as both an outright value and as a differential to WTI, effective Nov. 1, 2022.

Platts has discontinued the assessments due to waning market activity for the grade over the years, according to market sources.
The proposed discontinuation affects the following codes:
Eugene Island, PCAFC00
Eugene Island Monthly Average, PCAFC03
Eugene Island Pipeline Average, AAFCJ00
Eugene Island vs 1st Line WTI, AAGWD00
Eugene Island vs 1st Line WTI Monthly Average, AAGWE00
Eugene Island vs 1st Line WTI Pipeline Average, AAGWE02
The prices appear on Platts Global Alert and Platts Crude Oil Alert pages 214, 215, 216, and in Crude Oil Marketwire, North American Crude and Products Scan, Oilgram Price Report and the OPR Price Average Supplement.
