S&P Global Platts has changed eight daily container bunker charge assessments to reflect 0.5% sulfur marine fuel bunker prices in place of the IFO380 fuels, from November 1, 2019.
The changes to the bunker charge assessments cover the following container routes:
Head-Haul
Back-Haul
The bunker charge assessments reflect bunker costs for transporting a forty-foot container on the above routes and are expressed in $/FEU.
These assessments are calculated using $/mt bunker prices in representative ports, published by Platts.
