SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts changes name of US ethylene FD USG marker

S&P Global Platts is changing the US ethylene FD USG marker to US ethylene FD Mont Belvieu with effect from November 1, 2019.

This methodology change reflects more precisely the trading hub for spot US Gulf Coast ethylene.

This change affects the following assessments: Ethylene FD USG M1 (AAOSR00) and Ethylene FD USG M2 (AAOSS00). These assessments appear in Olefinscan, Platts Petrochemical Alert pages 301 and 870, as well as in the Platts price database under the codes listed above.

This change was first proposed in a subscriber note first published on August 19, 2019.
