SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts discontinues brands specifications in Steel Markets Daily

S&P Global Platts has discontinued the brands' specifications found in Asia Pacific Metallurgical Coal Relativities CFR China table, page 9 of the Steel Markets Daily publication and page 8 of Coal Trader International publication. This discontinuation will help Platts respond faster to changes in typical specifications of metallurgical coal brands. This follows market consultation initiated on September 18.

The brands' specifications in Asia Pacific Metallurgical Coal Relativities CFR China table was last published on October 31.

Platts assumption of typical specifications will remain available to market participants upon request.

Platts will continue to publish assessments for each brand relativity, and their relative spread to Platts Premium Low Vol and HCC 64 Mid Vol assessments.
