Platts changes the cargo size for FOB CVB Corn and Wheat assessments.

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has changed the cargo size for its FOB CVB corn assessment and FOB CVB wheat assessments from 25,000 mt to 30,000 mt, effective Nov. 1, 2024.

Platts understands that most of the wheat and corn traded from Constanta, Varna and Burgas ports is now shipped in 30,000 mt cargoes.

This change will affect the following assessments:

Wheat FOB CVB (12.5%) (ACVBA00)

Wheat FOB CVB (11.5%) (ACVBB00)

Corn FOB CVB (ACVBC00)

Platts previously proposed this change on Sept.5 in a subscriber note available here.

Following a feedback period, the decision to change the cargo size was published on Oct. 4 in a separate subscriber note available here.
