Following an extended period of research, S&P Global Platts proposes to reflect an RMD 80 specification for its 0.1% sulfur delivered bunkers assessment at Rotterdam, Netherlands, starting February 1, 2019.
Platts currently reflects an RMG 380 specification, with a maximum sulfur content of 0.1%. According to research by Platts, the majority of 0.1% sulfur bunker fuel traded at the port of Rotterdam is on the RMD 80 specification.
