SUBSCRIBER NOTE CORRECTION: Platts to discontinue NWE DOP assessments from Jan 2, 2015

(In October 30 story, corrects PCA page to PCA160, from PCA163.) Platts will discontinue its Northwest European dioctyl phthalate assessments while continuing its price assessments for other oxo-alcohols from January 2, 2015.

Following a comprehensive review of feedback, Platts reconsidered its initial proposal published August 7 to also discontinue price assessments for other oxo-alcohols -- normal butanol, iso-butanol, 2-ethyl-hexanol and phthalic anhydride -- and will continue to publish weekly assessments for each product.

These assessments are published on page PCA160 and found under the following codes in the Platts price database:
