SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to end 80 RON Russian domestic gasoline assessment

Platts confirms that it will discontinue its assessment of Russian normal unleaded gasoline RON 80 basis Ufa in the Privolzhsky Federal District, and basis Moscow in the Central Federal District, effective April 1, 2014. This follows feedback received to a proposal published by Platts made on September 9, 2013. Due to changing production patterns and demand, many Russian refineries have reduced output of the grade or have discontinued its production. This is in line with the ongoing modernization of Russian refineries and the drive to introduce more stringent environmental and specification requirements. Normal unleaded is still produced by some refineries, but spot availability is becoming increasingly scarce. The following symbols AAUDN00 and AAUDS00, which are published daily in the Russian Marketscan and PGA page 1330, as well as AAUDN03 and AAUDS03, which are published monthly on Page PGA 1331, will be suspended. Please send any further feedback and comments to europe_products@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com. Please provide a clear indication if comments are intended for publication by Platts for public viewing. Platts will consider all comments received and will make these comments available on request.
