Platts assessed European Cobalt Metal 99.8% mixed-use basket A IW Rotterdam at $22.30/lb on Oct. 24, unchanged from the previous assessment on Oct. 23.

An offer for 2 mt Chinese cut cathode was reported at $23.20/Ib ex-works Rotterdam, normalized to $23.20/Ib IW Rotterdam. Another offer for 2 mt KLK broken cathodes was reported at $24.35 EXW Rotterdam, normalized to $24.35/Ib IW Rotterdam. The repeatability of the offers could not be confirmed before market close.

A secondhand deal was booked for Chinese cut cathodes on Oct. 24 at $23.75/Ib EXW Rotterdam, normalized to $23.75/Ib IW Rotterdam.

Platts assessed European Cobalt Metal 99.8% mixed-use basket B IW Rotterdam at $22.30/lb on Oct. 24, unchanged from the previous assessment on Oct. 23.

An offer for 10 mt Ambatovy briquettes was reported at $24/Ib EXW Rotterdam, normalized to $24/Ib IW Rotterdam. Another offer for 2 mt Lygend cut cathode was reported at $24.25/lb DDP US, normalized to $24.15/Ib IW Rotterdam/Ib. The repeatability of the offers could not be confirmed before market close.

Platts assessed European Cobalt Metal 99.8% alloy-use IW Rotterdam at $23/lb on Oct. 24, unchanged from the previous assessment on Oct. 23.

A tradable level was reported at $23-$24/Ib IW Rotterdam.
