SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts begins publishing Petrobras 0.5% VLSFO posted prices

S&P Global Platts has begun publishing Petrobras Bunker Postings for Petrobras 0.5% VLSFO, effective October 28, 2019.

This follows a subscriber note on October 11 announcing the discontinuation of Petrobras' Bunker Postings for IFO 380 and IFO 180 CST: https://spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/101119-platts -to-discontinue-publication-of-petrobras-ifo-380-180-posted-prices

The discontinuation follows an announcement from Petrobras that it will no longer sell 3.5% sulfur bunkers at its Brazilian ports.

These third-party prices will be databased in Bunkerwire, Bunkerwire Monthly and Latin American Wire and will be published on pages 876 and 877 of Platts Global Alert and pages 2244 and 2245 of Platts Shipping Alert. In Bunkerwire, Bunkerwire Monthly and Latin American Wire they appear under the table titled Petrobras Bunker Postings.
