Platts updates minimum quantity displayed for 12,500 mt CIF NWE naphtha cargo eWindow instrument

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has updated the minimum cargo quantity displayed on the eWindow communication tool for the 12,500 mt CIF NWE naphtha cargoes instrument in the Platts Market on Close process, effective Oct. 27, 2022.

The eWindow order entry box displays 11,250 mt under the quantity range, equating to the minimum guaranteed deliverable quantity for a transaction of 12,500 mt +/- 10% in the seller's option, as per existing methodology.

This amendment aligns the cargo size to the logic applied to the other cargo sizes that can be bid or offered via the eWindow communication tool during the Platts Market on Close assessment process.

There is no change to the underlying methodology for the CIF NWE naphtha cargo assessment.
