Following a subscriber note first published July 29, 2009, Platts has completed its review of the use of the Ticen Ocean as an additional delivery point in the FOB Singapore fuel oil assessment process.
Platts will publish any offers of fuel oil that state the Ticen Ocean as the delivery point with effect from November 2, 2009.
The Titan Storage Limited-operated Floating Storage Unit (FSU) is anchored at Pasir Gudang, in the Johor province of southern Malaysia.
Platts methodology already includes deliveries made from landed storage at Pasir Gudang, plus storage vessels in the Johor province including Kadriah 1, Titan Chios and Brilliant Jewel.
The same standards will apply to the Ticen Ocean that are applied to other floating-storage vessels.
The FAQs document on Kadriah 1 can be found at: MethodologyAndSpecifications.aspx.
