Platts proposes to replace e-window instruments for Asian PX MOC from Jan 6, 2020

S&P Global Platts is proposing to replace the Asian paraxylene Market on Close PX e-window instruments with the following instruments, ‘Platts PX’ and ‘Platts PX spread”. The editorial window (ewindow) communication tool, facilitates the Asian paraxylene Market on Close assessment process.

The new instruments will replace the existing instruments and the respective spreads; Platts PX MR, Platts PX MR spread, Platts PX Asia origin, Platts PX Asia origin spread, Platts PX 26 kdwt, Platts PX 26 kdwt spread.

Separately, Platts has proposed CFR Taiwan/China paraxylene laytime and demurrage guidelines for trades in the MOC process in a subnote published October 25, 2019 which can be found at: http://plts.co/ObYM50wTQvf
