Platts to suspend US oil comment spillover pages

Platts proposes to extend the length of US oil market commentary pages on Platts Global Alert, so that commentaries will be available without truncation to all readers.

As part of this upgrade, Platts proposes to eliminate all spillover pages, which have until now been used to carry commentary beyond the existing length of commentary pages.

These pages would cease to be published with effect from January 1, 2011. From that date, each US commentary will appear on a single page.

The overall length of commentaries would be unaffected by this change.
