Platts proposes to change timestamp for 36 Asia rice assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to change the timestamp for its Indian, Vietnamese, Pakistani, Cambodian and Myanmar FOB Rice assessments from 11:30 London time to 16:30 Indian Standard time, with effect from Jan. 1, 2024.
This change is intended to better capture the concentration of trading activity in the Asian rice markets and will affect both daily and weekly assessments.
Assessments affected by this proposed change are as follows:

All Platts Thai origin assessments, including its benchmark Thai 5% Broken Long Grain White Rice assessment (LRABB00) will remain on their existing timestamp which is 11:30 am London time.
