Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to launch weekly delivered duty paid (DDP) European and US polymethyl methacrylate spot price assessments, to complement existing coverage of the feedstock methyl methacrylate (MMA) market, effective Dec. 11.
Details of the proposed assessment are as follows:

Pricing information for material with other specifications and terms may be normalized accordingly.
In the absence of spot market indications, Platts may consider a premium to the upstream MMA assessment.
The proposed assessments would reflect spot values on a weekly basis on Wednesday and would follow the UK and US publishing schedules.
The new assessments would be published on Platts Connect and in the Polymerscan.
