Effective immediately, Platts has removed reference to the in-state requirement for Ohio non-solar (RECOHI0) and Ohio solar (RECOHSI) Renewable Energy Certificate assessments. On October 15, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio decided that the new state law eliminating the requirement that 50% of RECs must come from in-state resources applies to 2014. The law was passed earlier this year, however, it had not been decided at the time if it would also apply to 2014. The assessments are published in Platts Electricity Alert pages 750 and 751 and in the Platts Megawatt Daily under the RE dispatch category.
