Feedback sought for proposed paraxylene spot assessment

Platts seeks feedback from industry participants on its proposal to introduce a daily paraxylene spot assessment CIF Northwest Europe (basis Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp).

Following recent discussions with several participants, imported PX cargoes are traded on a CIF ship-to-ship basis with buyer's option on delivery dates, seller paying the transfer costs.

The cargo size will reflect products traded between 3,000 mt to 5,000 mt lots.
