European middle distillate CIF cargo offers, barge bids

Effective December 1, 2010, Platts will only publish middle distillate CIF cargo offers and FOB barge bids for the European assessment processes that limit a counterparty's price exposure to operational tolerance.

Typically, Platts will not show European middle distillate CIF cargo offers that relate the operational tolerance element of the pricing formula to dates that occur prior to the delivery range.

Platts would accept CIF cargo offers that relate the operational tolerance element of the pricing formula to on or around the discharge dates.
