SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to add new US gasoline, heating oil rationales

As part of Platts' continued commitment to market transparency, Platts will start publishing new assessment rationales for certain key benchmark gasoline and heating oil assessments in the US. These new rationales -- for Gasoline Unl Sub Octane Group 3 Pipeline and ULS Heating Oil USGC Prompt Pipeline -- will be published alongside existing rationales for other US refined product assessments. Platts will also publish summaries of relevant bids, offers, trades and data that may have been excluded from these assessments on existing B/O/T/E pages. These new rationales complement existing market analyses and commentaries by providing specific details regarding how Platts editors arrived at these published assessments. The new rationales will appear in key Platts oil publications, including US Marketscan and on existing rationale pages on Platts Global Alert.
