CLARIFICATION NOTE: Platts clarifies NoCal/SoCal ethanol premium labeling in Biofuelscan

Please note that, effective October 22, S&P Global Platts has updated the labeling of the Northern California and Southern California differential to the front-month Chicago ethanol swap in the Biofuelscan.

As per Platts methodology, the Northern California and Southern California ethanol assessments are published as a differential to the Platts Ethanol Chicago front-month swap. The values published in the Biofuelscan have been correct, but the labeling incorrectly listed the current month instead of the next month, corresponding to the month of the front-month Chicago ethanol swap published under code ESCM001.

The labeling has been correct on Platts Biofuels Alert service pages PB0010, PB0210 and PB0212 and in the database under codes AAVYD00 and AAVXD00.
