Platts changes name of Questar, Rocky Mountains index to MountainWest

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has changed the name of the natural gas index Questar, Rocky Mountains to MountainWest,(IGBCN00), ICE MountainWest, North Pool, (JAADI00), ICE MountainWest, South Pool (JAADJ00) daily natural gas indices as well as ICE MountainWest, North Pool (JAADI03) and ICE MountainWest, South Pool (JAADJ03) monthly natural gas indexes.

This follows the renaming of the pipeline to MountainWest and is effective for the trade date Oct. 16, the flow date Oct. 17, for the daily indexes, and for monthly indexes for October bidweek.
