Platts to discontinue four Panamax dry bulk time charter equivalent codes

Platts will discontinue a set of Panamax dry bulk daily time charter equivalent codes from Nov. 2.

The codes are for calculation elements of Panamax dry bulk time charter equivalents including port costs, a grains loading rate, and Panama Canal dues.

The codes that will be discontinued are available in the Platts Pricing database under DBBPC00, DNOLR00, DNOPC00, and DPCBL00. These codes are not published on any fixed pages or in Platts Dry Freight Wire.
