Platts launches daily Alberta TIER carbon rationale

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched a daily rationale for its Alberta Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction (TIER) price assessments, including both Emission Performance Credits (EPCs) and Alberta Emission Offsets (AEO), effective Oct. 15.

Details of the assessments in the rationale are as follows:

The rationales reflect assessments using the latest market information up to the close of the assessment process at the 1600 CT market close timestamp.
