Platts to include Agua Blanca Pool in Waha natural gas index methodology

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will include transactions at the Agua Blanca Pool in the Waha daily (IGBDA00) and monthly (IGBDA03) natural gas index methodology effective for November gas trading.

The addition of Agua Blanca Pool trades to the Waha daily index will take effect for next-day trading on Oct. 31, 2024, for delivery Nov. 1, 2024. For the monthly index, the changes will take effect for monthly trades during November bidweek (Oct. 25, 28, and 29, 2024) for delivery Nov. 1-30, 2024.

Platts continues to seek feedback on the inclusion of ONEOK WesTex in the Waha daily and monthly indices. Platts will analyze the impact of the startup of the Matterhorn Express Pipeline together with market feedback to determine whether further change is required.
