Subscriber Note: Delivery basis for Brazilian bunker postings

Please note that all Brazilian bunker fuel values published by Platts for the ports of Paranagua, Santos, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador reflect the value of bunker fuel on a delivered basis. The values, which appear on Platts Global Alert page 876, in Platts Bunkerwire and in Platts price database, have previously been mislabeled in some locations as being on an ex-wharf basis. Since July 2011, Platts has published Brazilian bunker values as posted prices from Brazilian oil supplier Petrobras.
