Platts extends feedback period for Carthage Hub natural gas methodology review

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has extended the feedback period for its methodology review of the Carthage Hub index (IGBAF00) to Oct. 31, 2025.

Platts is seeking feedback on whether the existing Carthage Hub definition should be amended to encompass a wider range of pipeline flows at the Carthage Hub.

Additionally, Platts is seeking feedback on the creation of a new monthly Carthage Hub index.

The current Carthage Hub definition is as follows:

Carthage Hub (daily market only) Deliveries into Enable East, Gulf South Pipeline, Atmos Pipeline, Southern Natural Gas, Kinder Morgan Texas Pipelines, Tennessee Gas Pipeline, Texas Eastern Transmission, and Texas Gas Transmission at the tailgate of the Carthage, Texas, processing plant in Panola County, Texas.
