Platts to introduce new US HDPE blowmolding assessment

Platts will introduce a daily US high density polyethylene assessment on October 17, 2011.

Platts will assess blowmolding grade quality for this assessment, and will consider volumes of 250 mt or greater.

The assessment will reflect product loading 3-30 days forward from the date of publication basis FOB US Gulf Coast, for product with a melt flow rate of .25 or higher.

This new assessment will be published on PCA 572.
