Platts changes US PX contract price publication schedule

S&P Global Platts has changed its publication schedule for the weekly industry settled paraxylene US domestic contract price.

Previously, the published methodology guide stated that Platts would publish the most recent settlement until a new settlement is agreed upon.

With effect from Oct. 2, 2020, Platts will publish the paraxylene contract retroactively once it settles. The symbol and PCA page may appear blank until the new monthly settlement price is published.

The paraxylene contract price is published under the symbol PHABO00 on PCA pages 336 and 234 and in the Europe and Americas Petrochemical Scan.
