S&P Global Platts would like to clarify the published title and lead in the Metals Asia daily met coal commentary of Oct. 7.

In the Metals Asia Daily Met Coal Commentary published in SBB Steel Markets Daily and Coal Trader International on Oct. 7, the title should be "Seaborne met coal prices extend gains in the PCI, semisoft markets", instead of "Seaborne met coal prices unchanged in PCI, semisoft markets; fundamentals still bullish."

The lead should read: "Asia metallurgical coal prices extended gains day on day in the pulverized coal, or PCI, and semisoft FOB Australia markets Oct. 7, on tight supply and strong demand," instead of "Asia metallurgical coal prices were unchanged on the day Oct. 7 in the pulverized coal, or PCI, and semisoft FOB Australia markets, but supply remained tight amid strong demand."
