For the Market on Close assessment process, S&P Global Platts is changing the incrementability guidelines to allow bids and offers for Asia LNG physical to improve by up to 5 cents/MMBtu every 1 minute, as opposed to the normal 5 cents/MMBtu every 2 minutes.
The incrementability guidelines for Asia LNG derivatives will also change to allow for bids and offers to improve by up to 5 cents/MMBtu every 30 seconds, as opposed to the normal 5 cents/MMBtu every 1 minute.
These changes reflect the current volatility in the market due to European gas market price movements.
Platts reserves the right to change incrementability guidelines in the MOC process throughout the day depending on evolving market conditions.
These changes apply to the Platts JKM, WIM and MEM assessments, until further notice.
