Platts launches weekly Europe D40 and D60 white spirit spot assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched Delivered Duty Paid Northwest Europe spot price assessments for dearomatized white spirit with a flash point of 40° (D40) and dearomatized white spirit with a flash point of 60° (D60), effective Oct. 7, 2025.
The new assessments were originally proposed in a subscriber note published July 30, available here, and confirmed in a subscriber note published Sept. 9 , available here.

The weekly assessments are published on Tuesdays, alongside a weekly commentary, which forms part of the existing hydrocarbon solvents commentary and appears on Platts Connect and in Solventswire.
