Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to launch Delivered Duty Paid Northwest Europe spot assessments for dearomatized white spirit with a flash point of 40° (D40) and dearomatized white spirit with a flash point of 60° (D60), effective Oct. 7, 2025.
These new assessments would complement the existing White Spirit FD NWE and FOB Rotterdam assessments.
The weekly assessments, in Eur/mt, would take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30pm London time and follow the UK publishing schedule, which can be found here.

Pricing information with terms, locations, and specifications different from the above standard may be considered for assessment purposes, subject to normalization.
Market information about D40 and D60 would be included in the existing hydrocarbon solvents commentary.
The proposed assessments and the hydrocarbon solvents commentary would be available on Platts Connect and be published in Solventswire.
