For the Market on Close assessment process, S&P Global Platts will implement the normal, published incrementability guidelines to allow bids and offers for Asia LNG physical to improve by up to 5 cents/MMBtu every 2 minutes.
The incrementability guidelines for Asia LNG derivatives will also allow for bids and offers to improve by up to 5 cents/MMBtu every 1 minute.
This follows Oct. 7 when the incrementability guidelines for Asia LNG physical and Asia LNG derivatives were changed to 5 cents/MMBtu every 1 minute and 10 cents/MMBtu every 30 seconds, respectively.
These changes had reflected market volatility due to price movements in the European gas market.
Platts reserves the right to change incrementability guidelines in the MOC process throughout the day depending on evolving market conditions.
These changes apply to the MOC process for the Platts JKM, WIM and MEM assessments.
