Platts proposes to launch market-based hydrogen assessments in NW Europe and India

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to launch market-based renewable hydrogen assessments in Northwest Europe and India, effective Dec. 3, 2025.

Platts has observed strong interest in a market-based price assessment for hydrogen, as this nascent market continues to evolve.

Following a consultation period, which was published in a subscriber note available here, Platts proposes to launch two weekly market-based Hydrogen assessments for Northwest Europe and India, respectively.

For Northwest Europe, Platts is proposing the following specifications:
